David Daradan is an award winning actor based in South Australia. His notable works include the lead role in the South Australian Screen Award winning feature film ‘Charlotte’.  David has won the award for Best Male Performance in the Adelaide 48 hour Film Project for his role in the short film ‘Switcharoo’. He also has roles in notable TV Series such as  Damon Lindelof’s ‘The Leftovers’, Netflix series ‘Territory’ and upcoming TV Series ‘Warpath Chronicle’. David recently finished principal photography for upcoming feature film ‘Caliburn’ as the lead role of King Arthur. David is currently working on his directorial debut with his short film ‘Liability’ and has just completed short film ‘Hunt for Green’, which he co-wrote, co-directed and starred in.

David has extensive experience on stage and has performed to critical acclaim. He has performed multiple Shakespearean characters on stage such as Macbeth, Hamlet, Richard iii, Edmund (King Lear), Petruchio (Taming of the Shrew), Benedick (Much Ado About Nothing), Sebastian & Sir Andrew Aguecheek (Twelfth Night), Bottom (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and Mercutio (Romeo & Juliet). Outside of Shakespeare, David has performed in productions of David Lindsay Abaire’s ‘Rabbit Hole’, Mike Bartlett’s ‘Cock’, Brian Park’s ‘Enterprise and has just been cast in a 2025 production of Tennessee Williams’ ‘A Street Car Named Desire’ as the iconic Stanley Kowalski. 

His notable commercial works are the South Australian 2024 ‘Drink Driving’ campaign, Carisma Potatoes by Mitolo Family Farms, STRATCO, SA Health, Peter Shearer Menswear as well many other campaigns over the years. David also has many credits as a voice over artist for many advertising campaigns such as the award winning ‘Trade Up’ campaign, The Bend V8 Supersprint, Barramundi Wines, Coercive Control and the Adelaide Caravan & Camping show to name a few.
